Inviting applications for the role of PD, Underwriting

In this role, you will be responsible for using client data to model exposures using AIR software. Key output of this process is a summary of exposures and technical price to underwriters. This process involves two Major steps which is Scrubbing of Exposure data and apply terms & conditions and Modeling of data & publishing results.

Responsibilities:
Submission review - Checking for completeness of data submitted by underwriters and following-up with underwriters (as required) for e.g. SOV, Slip etc.
Data scrubbing - Converting client provided data (excel format) to AIR/ client proprietary tool format
Coding of COPE information
Ability to read & interpret slip/ binders to identify terms & conditions
Bordereaux processing for Underwriting Support Teams
Presenting with the Onsite Team
Responsible for delegated Authority Management
Responsible to comprehend, good customer service demeanour to clearly articulate the resolution
Responsible to handle varied volumes of workloads and to reach targets and deadlines on a timely basis

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
Graduate in quantitative sciences
Relevant experience in Exposure Management/ Property modeling will be preferable
Understanding of P&C insurance
Proficiency in MS Excel
Should have wing to wing knowledge of the Underwriting lifecycle, Binding Authority bordereaux processing Must demonstrate and cultivate customer focus, collaboration, accountability, initiative and innovation.
Knowledge of Risk, Premium and Claims bordereaux
Good knowledge of overall London Market Insurance
Good communication skill
Knowledge of excel formulas and regex is desirable

Preferred Qualifications
Basic certification from CII London i.e. ALMI, FIT or Cert CII
Understanding of Lloyd s business model
Excellent analytical ability
High speed of execution
Excellent Interpersonal skills
Ability to handle the work pressure
Work as an extraordinary teammate & highly motivated with problem solving skills
