Job Description

  • Manage all aspects of Project life cycle to facilitate successful delivery to executive team.
  • Oversee SAP project to provide metrics for reporting to executive team on business case ROI.
  • Provide Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA) on selected business processes to assemble input into business case.
  • Develop and oversee detailed project plans.
  • Identify, analyze and recommend business systems solutions to management having broad business impact.
  • Establish detailed project plans and metrics, work plans, schedules, resource plans and status reports.
  • Identity project risks and develop risk mitigation plans.
  • Provide project leadership, work direction and feedback.
  • Motivate work of others outside of direct authority to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met.
  • Convey and report status to executives, global business partners and all other key stakeholders.
  • Present formal presentations and executive summaries to senior management to provide recommendations and status updates.

  • Accelerated SAP (ASAP): An overview Normally call as ASAP -One of the Methodology for Implementing SAP: ASAP consists of five high-level phases or milestones: q q q q q Project Preparation Business Blueprint Realization Final Preparation Go-Live and Support.
  • Accelerated SAP (ASAP) Roadmap -1 According to standard ASAP Methodology, the below is included the Roadmap and brief content like in literature; Phase 1 Project Preparation q Change Charter q Project Plan q Scope q Project team organization Phase 2 Business Blueprint q AS is Process document q To be process document.
  • Accelerated SAP (ASAP) Roadmap -2 Phase 3 Realization Master Lists Define business scenarios and R/3 transactions to be realized in the system. q Configuration q BPP Business Process procedures q Unit testing & documentation q Development Programs q Training Material Phase 4 Final Preparation q Stress & Volume tests q Cutover Plan The details of how to move to the production environment and go live. q Conduct End User Training Phase 5 Go live & Support q Go- live & Support.
  • Setting up the program organization.
  • Project Teams Task and Responsibility Project Management team : The members of the project management team have to be 100% available for project work. Tasks and responsibilities : q Implementing the project. q Communicating, coordinating, and controlling the projects. q Evaluating and deciding about functional issues. q Configuring and customizing the system. q Training and supporting project members and users. q Documenting the project. q Reporting to the project manager.
  • Triple Constraints, balancing for Successful SAP project Balancing scope, time, and money is often among the biggest responsibilities of the project manager. These factors are considered the three sides of the project triangle. Project Scope - Articulating the specific work to be done for the project. q Project Time - Setting the finish date of the project as well as any interim deadlines for phases, milestones, and deliverables. q Project Project Cost - Calculating and tracking the project costs and budget.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Previous working experience as a Project Manager
  • Worked independently with the developers to develop Reports, Forms and Enhancements related to PM module.
  • Worked independently with the developers to develop Reports, Forms and Enhancements related to PM module.
  • Handle data migration and upload for PM modules through LSMW or CATT independently.
  • Knowledge on Functional Location, Equipment, classification, measuring point, measuring documents, Permits, revision,
  • Knowledge on Maintenance Notifications and Maintenance Orders.
  • Good Exposure on Integration with other modules

  • Graduation: B.Tech/B.E. MBA Any Specialization
