Job Description
Industrial Nurse to provide basic healthcare services to employees. The Nurse will be responsible to assist for developing and implementing Health and Safety Programs, assessing health risks, in addition to the prevention and treatment of resultant illness or injury. The Nurse should promote good health among employees by assisting to assess them at regular intervals, keeping health records for every employee, and maintaining good communication with company management regarding healthcare and safety.
- Assess and provide high-quality nursing care to employees.
- Change dressing and administer prescribed medications.
- Evaluate employees' health and assist to determine if they can perform duties safely.
- Assist on medical care as appropriate.
- Maintain clinical records in compliance with laws and regulations.
- Assist to plan and implement safety training for workers.
- Treat work-related injuries and assist care plans.
- Counsel individuals facing stress issues.
- Assist to Identify workplace hazards to reduced risks.
- Assist to educated workers in maintaining safe and clean work environment.
- Schedule follow-ups for workers in need of prolonged medical attention.
Required Candidate profile
- Possess Diploma / Degree in Nursing and valid or renewed Karnataka Nursing Council Registration.
- 1+ years' experience working for Factory Health Center or Clinic.
- Industrial health and triage experience.
- Good knowledge of human anatomy and treating injuries.
- Skilled in assessing patients and advising rest and further medical care.
- Good understanding of industrial hygiene and personal protective equipment.
- Ability to evaluate toxic and epidemic elements at workplace.
- Documentation Skills.
- Should possess ACLS and BLS certificate.
- Excellent Typing, Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
- Proficient in the use of basic computer programs including MS Word applications.
- Profound knowledge of Nurse Practice Act and related industry guidelines.
- Ability to work well under stress including in emergency situations.
- Solid ability to work well independently and in group settings.
- Strong communications and organizational abilities.
