Inviting applications for the role of SAP BO Developer / SME
In this role, we are inviting enthusiasts with experience in universe designing, report designing, development and deployment using SAP Business Objects. You should be proficient in universe design based on relational connections.
Responsibilities- Ability to work with the Business teams on requirement discussions
- Design, build and deploy reporting solutions
- Sound knowledge & working experience in implementing features like multiple data providers, data merging, free-hand SQL in Webi
- Should have experience in optimizing existing reports & tuning performance issues
- Should have working knowledge on CMC administration, user security, report scheduling & service monitoring
- Manage and improve existing BI systems
- Able to comprehend and translate complex and advanced functional, technical and business requirements into executable architectural designs
- Require to perform advance level calculations on the report data
- Conduct unit testing with a tester s mindset so as to minimize QA/UAT defects
- Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
- Develop and update technical documentation
- Ability to organize/manage timely delivery
- Documentation of findings
- Full Transparency on progress (JIRA)
- Ability to collaborate with wider team to share knowledge and improve quality of delivery (MS TEAMS)
- BCA/B Tech or MCA
- Meaningful work experience in BI & DW domain.
- Should also have good exposure in SAP BO Administration, including installation, SSO implementation and bulk content migration.
- Should have strong SQL skills with experience in RDBMS such as MS SQL Server, Oracle etc.
- Having strong communication skills (verbal/written) will be essential to deliver the technical insights and interpret the data reports to the clients.
- We are looking for a strong analytical and logical mindset and attention to detail & your ability to work in a team.
- Experience in Insurance Domain (P&C is preferred)
- At least 8 years of SAP BO Experience, preferably on version BI 4.2
- At least one full-cycle BO project experience
- Must have extensive knowledge of Universe Design
- Must have extensive knowledge of Webi Report Design
- Must have experience on BO Administration and installation
- Must have good SQL skills, and basic understanding of dimensional modeling
- Good to have experience in other reporting tools like Power BI/SSRS
- Good analytical and problem solving skills and ability to handle client discussions
- Good to have knowledge/experience on AWS EC2 concepts
- Good to have worked on OLAP connections and Multi-source universes in BO
- Very good written and verbal communication skills
