Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Skills Must be with Technology+ -
- Qualification B. E. Chemical from a reputed institute (Tier One college Only)
- Managing the techno-commercial feasibility of new/ alternate technologies and Idea's, which could be w.r.t process intensifiction, energy entesification etc.
- Generating ideas towards novel technologies/ concepts .
- Taking up capability enhancement activities by building capabilities on software's as well as detailed understanding on complex engineering areas.
- Experience 5-9 years of experience in process design and technology. Preferably, should have worked on process simulation software's like Aspen plus and CFD Software's.
- Industry Exposure :- Chemical / Agro-chemical/ Oil & Gas only
Key Role & Responsibilities :-
process design and technology (New Idea's) - Technology Development of New Products and Process Design.
1. Able to lead a team which can:
-Create basic engineering documents like PFDs, PIDs, PDS, mass balance energy balance etc.
- Performing deep technical understanding / feasibility for newer/ strategic technologies/ chemistries.
- Performing economics studies (OPEX/CAPEX) for newer/ strategic technologies as well as newer concepts.
- Provide support to R&D for Engineering aspects, Simulation, wherever required.
- Perform modelling of complex unit operations as well as interpretation of the results and setting the way forward.
- Support in making concepts in development and design phase of the projects, wherever required.
- Interaction/ Engagement with vendors/ academic institutes if required for particular technology.
2. Bringing newer ideas w.r.t process intensification, energy intensification, advanced separation processes like DWCs etc, and help in arriving at Go/ No go decision in organization's context.
3. Developing comprehensive understanding on basics of engineering/ scale-up aspects of critical/ strategic technologies from lab to pilot and pilot to commercial and presenting the same to cross-functional teams.
4. Creating Standards and manuals for specific engineering unit operations
5. Modelling in Aspen plus, CFD software's for resolving critical process engineering issues and coordination with cross-functional teams to discuss the way forward and implementation of recommendations.
6. Coordination with R&D team for understanding the trialst and setting DOE for newer/ strategic chemistries.
7. Building capability on chemical engineering software's and impairing learnings to whole group. 8. Create atmosphere in a team to promote values and culture of company. Show leadership in showcasing culture of organization.
