Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Program Manager able to develop and execute strategies to deliver datacenter spares warranty support models at cloud scale in a dynamic, fast paced environment. You will provide an essential centralized function for global teams, where you will engineer processes, define, deliver, and operate scalable system solutions, and manage a continuous feedback cycle to drive sustained business improvement.
Responsibilities
- Drive spares supplier performance by closely managing a spares open order book with multiple suppliers
- Drive global cycle-time reduction and on-time/in-full order delivery with multiple spares suppliers
- Establish and operationalize weekly monthly performance reviews with assigned suppliers to drive spares fill rate improvement and spares replenishment lead-time reduction
- Execute monthly internal-to-Microsoft senior leadership reviews to identify strengths opportunities related to improving the predictability and reliability of spares delivery to global stocking locations
- Build strong working relationships across multiple disciplines and teams, driving influence across the organization
- Drive continuous improvement of service parts supply chain processes, including assessment improvement of program delivery capabilities, analysis insights of business performance metrics, and management of voice-of-the-customer feedback loops
- Enable data-driven decision making through SQL Query, PowerBI and similar mediums
- Collaborate with Sourcing, Finance, Data Center Operations, Procurement, Contracts Management the supply base, effectively building relationships with a wide range of influencers and cultivating strategic relationships globally
- Define drive to detailed program schedules, including senior-level program reviews to share scope, schedule, issues, and risks
- Design, execute, and refine process and tool models to improve operational efficiency and enable scale for service parts operations
- Manage continuous improvement cycle and process initiatives in parallel to day-to-day business operations
- Proven track record of large-scale project delivery with 5-7 years of experience focused on supply chain operations, processes, and systems
- Demonstrated supply chain experience, ideally with component parts or service parts supply chain
- Demonstrated experience defining, developing, measuring, improving key performance indicators
- Technical problem solving and communication skills with a focus on process engineering and enabling automation
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment with rapidly changing requirements
- Adept in program management skill and coordination between multiple teams to drive scoping, schedule, and delivery of continuous improvement efforts
- Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities
- Proven track record of strong critical thinking, problem-solving, solution design, implementing and driving closure on continuous improvements efforts
- Eager to learn, curious, and customer-obsessed
- Excellent analytical, verbal, written, interpersonal communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of key IT and service industry concepts
- Bachelor s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- Proficient with Microsoft O365 applications, Visio, MS Project
- Well-versed in program management methodologies, approaches and tools, PMI certification a plus
- Working knowledge of 3 rd Party Package software platforms such as Dynamics 365, SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, Ariba Supplier Collaboration
- Supplier Management, Procurement Operations and/or Sourcing experience a plus
- Expertise in deployment service of high-performance, highly available, large scale server hardware, network device and related technologies, preferably in tier one Cloud-provider datacenters
- Knowledge and understanding of cloud infrastructure and datacenter issues such as physical space, rack units, break-fix workflow
- Lean/Six-Sigma training, Kaizen, Agile, CPIM/CSCP certification useful
- Data mining experience with SQL and PowerBI a plus
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements is required for this role.
