Job Description
Advanced Automotive Electronics
This position shall be responsible for developing strategies, goals and objectives for the Automotive Electric and Electronics R&D, that encompass innovative product development and standardization of the development process through advanced design, technology and process improvements. To contribute to strategy thrust for the organization by developing new avenues for business.
Roles and Responsibilities
Responsible for R&D in the area of Vehicle Electronics and Digital Solutions across the automotive sector.
- End-to-end Responsible for vehicle security system, Connected Vehicles platform, transforming the ownership experience and customer convenience across the automotive electronics products.
- Exploring New business potential in Indian/Overseas Automotive Electronics market.
- Unified platform solution with a highly scalable architecture with a common Auto Electronics platform.
- Creating new business models for the Sandhar enterprise and the Ecosystem partners.
- Responsible for new product development as per customer specifications and complies with regulatory requirement.
- Manage the team towards delivery of the Electronics solutions.
- Direct and control research projects to ensure that they deliver timely and cost effective results which enhance the effectiveness.
- Collaborate with Business Development, Manufacturing and Quality teams for defining critical business issues and opportunities and analyzing internal competitive factors.
- Ensure compliance with the OHSAS, ISO 14001, TS 16949 and any other regulatory norms.
- Lead the team for designing the product/ improvement of existing product, developing prototype, running pilot batch and implementing process and production engineering
- Responsible for project/product approval at customer ends as per the desire time plan like: verify and validate designs, production trial run and complete the PPAP approval process, facilitate transfer of newly developed products from R&D to production by closely monitoring the pilot phase.

Qualification: BE/ ME (Electronics & Communication or Equivalent)
Experience: More than 15 Years in Auto Electronics products/system.
