Job Description

Position -Assistant Mgr - Textile / Graphic Designer

Location - Mumbai

Candidate should be a Textile Graduate or NIFT graduate with minimum 5 to 8 years experience. A good eye for colour, texture, fabrics and pattern

Key responsibilities -

• Producing sketches, designs and samples on time for presentation to customers
• Accurately interpreting and representing ideas thru mood boards for Theme / Range
• Liaising with technical, marketing and buying to plan and develop designs
• Using specialist software and computer-aided design (CAD) programs
• Experimenting with colour, fabric and texture
• Keeping pace with trends of new design, production techniques
• Sourcing fabrics and other materials at trade fairs, markets and antique shops
• Keeping up to date and spotting fashion trends in fabric design by reading forecasts in trade magazines and using internet resources
