Inviting applications for the role of Lead Associate, Core Operations
ResponsibilitiesPerform initial triage and troubleshooting of all Network and Systems related incidents and outages
Respond to Monitoring alerts, assess impact and take appropriate action
Responsible for resolving Incidents and Service Requests while following defined procedures for classification, assignment and tracking
Provide on-call support over weekends as the need arises
Qualifications we seek in you
Practical understanding and ability to seek in ONE of the following
Networking LAN, WAN, Wireless LAN and VPN:Basic Installation of Switches, Routers and Firewall
Configuration of Switch access and trunk port, interface, VLAN, VTP, STP
Configuration of Router WAN and LAN interfaces, static routing, Telnet and SSH, Site to Site and Remote Access VPN
Configuration of Firewall trusted and un-trusted zones, NAT, IPS, application control and URL filtering
VPN, ACLS user management
Solid Grasp OSI layers
Problem solving knowledge of Switching, Routing and Firewall
OR
System Administration:Log in to Windows/Linux servers Direct root log in/RDP with domain & local accounts, use Putty for logging in to Linux servers or SSH to remote servers
Should have extensive Knowledge about Windows and Linux Operating systems.
Monitor server performance and respond to alerts
Handle user access (eg. LDAP, AD)
Linux and Windows basic troubleshooting (eg. CLI commands - top etc.)
Exposure to Single Sign On (SSO)
Familiarity with Google Admin/G Suite Admin, Salesforce, LDAP, JIRA
Basic understanding of private and Public Cloud Technology (eg. AWS, VMware, GCP, Oracle etc.)
Preferred qualificationsBachelor s Degree or Level two technology experience in Networking or Systems
CCNA, Network+, MCSE, RHCE or equivalent Certifications
Basic Level of understanding of Python, Ruby, Scripting
Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Outstanding customer service skills
Keen analytical and structured approach to problem solving
Excellent documentation skills
