Software Qa Manager, Cloud @ McAfee

About the Role :

• McAfee is hiring for QA Manager, Cloud who has experience in owning the manual automation testing for applications. Has some experience in Bigdata/Cloud technologies.
• ownership for the manual, automation, performance and security testing of the application
• Prepare test plans, documentation based on the requirements
• Track and analyze test results, create report, draw conclusion, and make necessary recommendations for improvements
• Plan and execute a full system regression testing for all releases
• Collaborate with development teams to understand how development changes affect ongoing Automation efforts
• Identify the components of the system to be automated based on business priority and benefits of automated testing
• Augment the automation framework, prepare reusable functions, which improve the robustness, re-usability, and maintainability of test scripts.
• Improve on the framework design in such a way that it increases and speeds up productivity

About You :

• 12+ years of experience with testing using selenium, REST APIs, Junit, Java, Perl etc
• Strong Java, and python/perl scripting knowledge
• Experience in big Data technologies is a big plus[Hadoop, Hive, Storm, NoSQL etc]
• Expertise with testing methodology and techniques on Linux and Windows
• Experience with Jira/Confluence for bug tracking and documentation
• Expertise in Agile environment
• Expertise with complete software development lifecycle process
• Expertise with use of test management tools
• Strong business acumen and agility within a large, matrixed organization
• Ability to listen, adopt and influence is essential
• Strong leadership skills and demonstrated ability to coach and mentor a team
• Demonstrated track record for strong analysis and follow up
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interface with multiple project team members and work with them remotely or face to face.
