Principal Consultant, Saas Support

In this role, you will be responsible for creating technical specification, developing a component or improving an existing module and deploying the same post successful unit testing. You are encouraged to contribute to the vision, understand the product roadmap, integrate business value with experience and contribute to building an engineering culture within the team. You must be proficient in agile software development concepts.

Responsibilities
  • To manage ongoing Disaster Recovery capability for PVAI clients.
  • Participate in customer DR plan delivery as part of onboarding process
  • Ensure Plans are up to date and aligned to any changes.
  • Ensure contractual test requirements are met.
  • Plan DR testing.
  • Proactively work with Infrastructure and application teams to challenge solutions and improve RPO and RTO.
  • Must have DR experience in AWS, Zone and Regional setups.
Secondary Role
  • Work as IT process SME to help service manager with ongoing operation and improvement of support processes.
  • Change Management.
  • Incident and Problem Management.
Qualifications

Minimum qualifications

  • Experience of DR Operations for large and complex services delivered on AWS/ideal SaaS, and on premise. Used to working with ticketing systems, e.g. Zendesk, ServiceNow, or Jira Service Desk Experience working with pharma or medical device industry.
  • Bachelors or Master s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Preferred Qualification
  • Proven experience in Java and SaaS technologies.
  • Good communication abilities.
  • Experience with all aspects of software development lifecycle.
  • Excellent relevant experience.
