Job Description

Position Purpose Within the Wealth Management IT Hub Ops Division, the Test Manager (TM) will lead the application testing activities, covering the scope of International Wealth Management activity in Europe and in Asia. The main missions of the TM will be to: Define a cost effective approach for testing a very wide scope of functionalities in a complex environments (multiple inter-connected mission-critical applications, multiple countries in Europe and Asia)
Define and document the overall testing strategy and planning, in line with the overall project objectives, and with a truly global approach, covering all sites and situations
Lead the implementation of comprehensive testing tools and procedures, in order to achieve maximum automation, in conjunction with existing facilities and best practices already available in the organization, or in the industry
Contribute to the selection and hiring of suitable tester candidates for the project
Lead and the testers team, in preparing and executing highly automated test activities, with good quality and short turnaround time, along with the support of business analyst team
Lead the analysis and investigation of test results and findings, root cause analysis, coordinating with development teams and business analysts.
Maintain the corpus of test data necessary to reproduce reliably the defined test cases and scenarios, including new scenarios added to support added or modified functionality
Participate into project committees, report on testing activities progress and issues, propose workaround solutions when necessary
Coordinate with other teams, for testing of interfaces and other dependencies between applications
Manage all the necessary governance and processes allowing to design, and validate the test cases, the efforts estimations, planning and potential risks
Provide official sign-off (test completion reports), before moving to next cycle
Ensure that test activities respects internal standards and best practices, integrating and sharing with the other testing communities in the organization
Responsibilities Scope of project(s) Core Banking Platform, for Wealth Management
Transversal topics involving other domains and interfaced applications
Responsibilities and skills required: Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal third-parties to analyze testing requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Cases, Test Completion Report and sign-off, exception reporting and follow-up.
Excellent knowledge and relevant experience in test automation tools and techniques, both for data entry and for comparison of test results (e.g. on screen, in reports, in database, performance and scalability tests)
Experience in managing and maintaining test data, which allows reproducible results and comparison between successive test runs
Strong analytical and quick learning skills required, to handle test cases in a rich and complex architecture with many interconnected applications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, managers, subject matter experts and technical teams.

Specific Skills Strong proficiency with Testing tools, test automation and software quality tools: Expert in various testing techniques, and achieving maximum automation for non-regression tests
UFT, Selenium, Appium, PostMan, etc
Performance testing : JMeter
ALM, JIRA, Service Now
Functional tests, Non Functional Requirements, Security, Performance, Robustness, Middleware testing (MQ, batch processing, REST APIs)
At least 15 years of experience in : Software testing domain, as a Senior Tester or Manager Of which 5 to 10 years in state of the art testing automation
Banking Industry, as a Tester and Test Manager
Core Banking processes and features :
Strong knowledge of transaction capture, settlement and accounting booking
Strong knowledge of financial products flows and on their underlying (Securities, Payments, Money Markets, Foreign Exchange, Credit, Derivatives and Structured Products, Commodities, Mutual Funds)
Corporate actions processing
Payment and transaction settlement systems (SWIFT, SEPA, local domestic systems in Europe and in Asia)
Customer/Supplier Relations: WMIS (Wealth Management Information Systems organization): WM IT Hub (in Chennai and Singapore) and WMIS in other locations (Switzerland, Lisbon, Paris, etc)
Engineering and Infrastructure teams
Community of testers in the organization
Out of WMIS: Business user community, and in particular Operations teams in respective sites, and all other Business representatives who may be connected to Core Banking activities
Solution providers and vendors, whether internal or external to BNPP group.
Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written. Proficient with Powerpoint, Excel, Word, Vision
