Job Description
AM, Capital Market- In this role, you would be supporting a US bank in their Capital Markets Structured Finance ( Structured Finance ) business. Structured Finance Group provides capital financing solutions to and customers, including finance companies, mortgage companies, and asset managers.
- Balance sheet Account s analysis and explain all items and activities contained within each account.
- Regular Review of keeping in view the terms, modifications, amendments, covenant waivers, etc. for assigned exposure and relationship
- Over time, gain an understanding of Control Testing Function including upstream and downstream implications and become proficient in QA
- Preparation, QA and review of portfolio surveillance and materials, of supervising all transaction and policy/transaction review requirements
- Provide tactical & strategic observations and insights on collateral, credit, and financials. Take ownership of execution and bring functional and technical insights to the onshore teams
- Responsible for coordinating reporting and review of periodic financials for an insurance company and Assist quarterly and annual audit
- Analysis of financial documents/offer memorandum/term sheets to judge the liquidity and creditworthiness of the clients for lending/equity perspective
- Maintaining the team s database and various spreadsheets for internal reporting
- Assisting with team s portfolio management activities and take ownership of respective transactions
- Regular monitoring of the portfolio, both internal and external credit improvement, waterfall structure, covenant monitoring
- Ongoing review of performance trends of collateral and collaborating closely with onshore teams to extend support and qualitative inputs
- Any Graduate, preferably from commerce background
- MBA/PGDM (Finance)
- Professional Qualification: CFA Level I/II (Preferable but not a requirement)
- Any prior work experience in credit research or financial statement analysis
- Ability to work efficiently, as well as independently, in a team environment
- Analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Sophisticated Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
- Excellent communication skills, good phenomenal teammate, and the ability to work cross functionally in a fast-paced, high-productivity environment
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proven problem solving and decision-making skills
- Technical and analytical skills including financial analysis
