Inviting applications for the role of SM, Data Scientist CollectionsARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FORResponsibilities- Work with stakeholders throughout the organisation to see opportunities for demonstrating company data to drive business solutions.
- Mine and analyze data from databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies.
- Assess the efficiency and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
- Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
- Use predictive modelling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting and other business outcomes.
- Develop model validation testing framework and test model quality.
- Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and supervise outcomes.
- Develop processes and tools to supervise and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
- Experience manipulating data sets and building statistical models, has a Master s or PHD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or another quantitative field.
- Able to nurture robust working relationships with the team, peers and clients, scheduling flexibility required.
- Knowledge and experience in statistical and data mining techniques, crafting and using sophisticated machine learning algorithms and statistics along with distributed data/computing tools and visualizing tool.
- Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SLQ, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
- Self-starter and have analytical, problem solving skills.
- Must show high degree of attention to detail, ownership, accountability and sense of urgency.
- Be able to own the team, both onshore and offshore.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills and Superb communication skills.
