Roles and Responsibilities
- Management of project implementations including all relevant applications (Shipping etc.)
- Develop and/or review estimates and estimating assumptions for the projects schedule, effort, and cost using established estimation models, best practices, and experience
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Management Plan, including the configuration management, change management, and communication plans
- Extensive experience in Risk Identification, Risk Analysis, Mitigation and contingency planning activities throughout the project lifecycle
- Good customer experience Regular customer communication, Maintain CSAT and customer complaints.
- Responsible for the overall day-to-day management of the project to ensure that project objectives are achieved within time/cost/quality constraints, whilst managing stakeholder expectations.
- Report project status to the Steering Committee and control agencies to ensure the projects overall direction and integrity
- Coordinate and monitor the activities of project team ensuring that all the work is undertaken in accordance with the project plan
- Financial budget and resource management of simultaneous projects for multiple clients
- Experience in Effort estimation, Task allocation, Planning & Project tracking.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Overall 12+ years of experience in IT industry.
- 5-7+ years of experience in solution implementation as a Project Manager
- Have led teams in different package implementations, support & enhancement engagements
- Project management of the various implementation for various clients.
- Project Planning, tracking & control in terms of project kickoff, execution of project to customer in agreed timeline and budget, adherence to project performance norms and operational parameters (Resource Pyramid, DGM etc.), contract management
- Manage process and project quality compliance in software development, QA, integrations, training, and support.
- Track and report project status, timeline, and defect resolution.
- People management Goals setting, Appraisals, Employee engagement, Attrition control, Training & Assessments
- Understanding of Agile (Safe), DevOps would be added advantage
- Excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written both)
- Negotiation of project scope and timeline of deliverables
