Estimating and establishing cost parameters and budgets for purchases
Drafting of Tender, Purchase &Work Order as per requirements of the Company
Maintain accurate records/database for purchases and pricing
Create and maintain good reasonable relationships with vendors/suppliers
Making professional decisions in a fast-paced environment
Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options
Develops plans for purchasing equipment, services and supplies
Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts
Ensure that products and supplies are high quality/precision and as per specifications tendered/requisitioned
Create and maintain inventory of all incoming and current supplies
Maintain and update list of suppliers and their credentials, qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development
Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients
Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies
Proven working experience as a procurement manager.
Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in reading the market
Good knowledge of supplier or third party management software
Handling vendor related issues, development of new vendors, Effective management of vendor database
ABC classification of vendors on the basis of criteria like cost, quality, timely delivery etc.
Evaluating vendors & negotiating the price, delivery schedule and terms and conditions with them.
Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
Perform all Administrative functions at the Corporate Office including maintenance of Insurance of all vehicles, filing of claims for insurance, liasoning with relevant third parties/ vendors, maintaining stock registers, leave registers etc.
Maintaining list of work weekly/monthly/ yearly whereby all works are scheduled on time including distribution of cards, calendars etc.
