Job description:
- Support the day-to-day operational processes for fraud prevention activities
- Review fraud detection systems alerts to identify fraudulent activity related to ACH or wire transfers, digital activity, and account openings
- Conduct research using third party data sources to validate clients identity or financial transactions
- Track and document action taken in a timely and correct manner to provide a record of activity and meet audit and compliance requirements.
- Determine action required based on established procedures to protect the firms assets; work with supervisor on handling more complex cases
- Assist in identifying and developing process enhancements to maximize efficiency of fraud detection activities
- Make sound subjective decisions to close risky relationships, place and remove restrictions on accounts
- Communicate with different stakeholders and clients to resolve system problems or request additional information and / or documentation to support a decision
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum graduation
- 1-3 years of Fraud Prevention experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Strong understanding of the customer service experience
- Must be self-directed, detail oriented, driven, and able to work independently in a team-oriented and fastpaced environment
- Ability to analyze patterns and trends and communicate findings in an effective manner
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree
- Fraud experience in financial services environment
- Experience in an operational or risk prevention role in financial services or related industries
