Description

1. Create a culture of continuous learning and improvement and ensure this culture is inculcated across the organisation

  • Facilitate process mapping in various functions within Indus Towers and ensure Process Excellence activities are conducted in a structured manner
  • Ensure alignment of initiatives at the corporate and circle level
  • Mentor and support allocated Circle on PE activities:
  • projects both YB & GB
  • problem solving events
  • trainings
  • Mentor and support allocated Functions on above and conduct the same at corporate level initiatives
  • Mentor GB & YB candidates

2. Continuous improvement of processes

Encourage the regions for establishing a sustained culture of process excellence by means of :

  • encouraging the regional PE events such as quiz, visual management boards at all circles
  • strategy events to identify good project ideas
  • publish local dashboards at circle / corporate level and
  • establish rewards and recognition mechanism for trained belts / reward for best projects at circle as well as corporate levels.- periodically interact with
  • circle leadership / corporate leadership and other key stakeholders to understand and address any change / resistance issues
  • Drive replication of best practices in Circles off the Incubator
  • Drive VSM, Kaizen events to solve for Audit issues and close loop with Audit team
  • Drive centralized programs like ARIS & Incubator as part of ongoing improvements in Indus processes and ways of working

3. Facilitate implementation of Lean/Six-Sigma best practices

  • Track, monitor and Facilitate training sessions
  • Facilitate usage of DMAIC/PDCA methodologies with right tools & techniques in solving crucial business problems
  • Provide guidance to team members and ensure effective implementation of processes on the ground
  • Facilitate workshops and conduct awareness campaigns in order to ensure that team members and employees at Indus Towers remain up to date on the latest developments in the industry
Qualifications

Minimum Educational Qualifications to perform this job

  • Bachelors in any discipline - Science / Commerce / Engineering; Post graduation in engineering or business is preferred.

Knowledge Required

  • Six Sigma, Lean and knowledge of Basic Statistics- Should be Six Sigma or Lean Black Belt certified from a reputed institute- Should be Black Belt and Green Belt certified also from a respectable organization and / or institute. Should be familiar with Minitab 16 or above

Skills / Competencies

  • Project management, Process management, Change management, Facilitation skills, Mentoring

Relevant Experience (Functions, roles, duration)

  • 12-15 years of which minimum of 6 + years in the area of quality implementation, preferably in Six Sigma, Lean, Change Management, TQM or CMMI.
