Staff Engineer - ASIC Digital Design

Location : Bangalore

This position is a permanent position with our client (US Based Semiconductor Product Company with revenue more than 30 Billion USD)

Job Requirements:

  1. BS / MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  2. ~ 10 years of experience in ASIC RTL design
  3. proven hands-on experience with SOC Design and IPs design
  4. Knowledge and experience with complex SoC designs based on ARM/ARC and hierarchical interconnect.
  5. Expertise in verilog and system verilog based logic design
  6. Create detailed micro architecture & implement complex IP or sub-system
  7. Work with DV team to debug and meet code coverage metrics
  8. Work with FW team and provide required support on FW development
  9. Experience in all design tools/standards/simulators like Lint, CDC, DC, VCS & UPF
  10. Knowledge of interconnect protocols like AMBA is a must

Added Qualifications

  1. Candidate should have experience to handle and guide teams on End-to-End SOC development cycle like Design, Verification, DFT, Physical design, FPGA prototyping, FW bring up, Characterization, Test, Qual, Packaging, signal Integrity.
  2. Work with Global teams, define expectations, drive the requirements closure and delivery alignments and follow ups.
  3. Ability and experience to drive the critical decisions for the SOC
  4. Experience with PCIe, DDR, NAND I/F and storage SOC designs (advantage)
  5. Proven experience as full chip lead at least for one project.
  6. Excellent problem-solving, communication and leadership skills.
