Summary
The mission of the HANA Enterprise Cloud Delivery organization within the Intelligent Enterprise Group Unit is to build and operate the HANA Enterprise Cloud Portfolio. This is an enabling function to help customers to gain advantage out of HANA without the necessity to invest in infrastructure and operations know-how. The power of HANA shall be easy and cloudlike to be consumed to accelerate and enable HANA adoption in the market
Role
- Act as a SAP Basis Support administrator for ABAP and JAVA stack for critical customer issues.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues related to SAP Basis, JAVA and HANA Database.
- Perform Root cause analysis for critical incidents and drive escalations calls with the customer
- Perform Kernel, Support Packs and Enhancement Package Upgrades
- Perform Installation of languages, support packages and add-ons (ABAP and JAVA).
- Perform SAP Note Implementation.
- Perform SAP Java Patching, Deployment of SDA/SCAs [SDM, JSPM and SUM]
- Perform Upgrade of SAP ERP to agreed release version in alignment with customer.
- Perform SAP System Installations: Simple Finance and S/4 HANA
- Installation of SAP BW, ERP latest releases on HANA
- Ensure correct resources available and operating effectively within each project team.
Role Requirements
- More than 7+ years Experience as a SAP Technical Basis Consultant
- Act as a trusted advisor for the customer.
- Ability to create value proposition for the customer when required.
- Strong Technical Expertise in SAP Installations, Upgrades and migrations.
- Problem solving expertise with technical focus and strong Basis Troubleshooting skills.
- Very good understanding of complex architectures and maintenance activities.
