 Business Development Executive

Job Description

Role Accountabilities:

o Organising meetings, preparing the agenda and prerequisites, arranging for logistics, recording the minutes, assisting in the creation of the presentations and reports. Ensure the proprietor is prepared for the meeting.

o Scheduling the calendar with appointments, errands, breaks, tasks, reminders and goals.

o Systematically noting and recording dictations from the proprietor, indexing and classifying these dictations under heads (ideas, notes, thoughts, calendar, records or research) and presenting it proactively when required.

o Contacting potential clients and architects via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings.

o Understanding the products, costing and having basic knowledge of furniture and interiors.

o Maintaining the prospects, leads and follow up data within the CRM and other essential spreadsheets of yours and Tushars clients.

o Demonstrating and presenting products and services to the clients and architects.

o Creating a positive brand image/ awareness in the minds of the new prospective clients and architects.

o Organising meetings with prospective clients and architects by growing, maintaining and leveraging your network.

o Identify opportunities and present new products and services to existing clients and architects.

o Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing.

o Researching organisations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify lead profiles.

o Enhance existing relationships by providing support, guidance and information through inhouse teams.

o Preparing proposal documents and sales deck and other essential presentations for pitch of yours and Tushars clients.

o Providing product details for e-commerce website and social media, and following up with leads from website and social media.

o Contacting clients and architects to inform them about new developments in the companys products.

o Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person towards closure and growing accounts.

o Ensuring showroom display is good and price tags and price lists are updated timely.

o Participating and attending conferences, exhibitions, meetings, and industry events that help procure leads.

o Collaborating new marketing initiatives with the marketing team.

o Cold calling / emailing and messaging our old database and acquiring a new database of clients and architects, potential clients and leads.

o Inspecting the products and every production stage and ensuring the best quality.

o Following up with the clients for payments, delivery schedule and updating the client of progress when necessary.

o Ensuring the factorys production, quality and delivery of products is of the best quality and completed timely.

Minimum Entry Qualifications

o Good Communication Skills.

o 0-2 years of minimum experience in BD

o Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

o Proven track record for business closures.

o Skills in conflict resolution and negotiation

o Skills in competitive intelligence

Skills in problem solving, solution outlines.
