Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Should have worked in a corporate communications team before.
- Agency back group would be an added advantage
- Excellent written and verbal skills in English, with excellent grasp over the English language
- Should be able to edit and correct content within tight deadlines
- Editing submitted content (fact-checking, referencing, and plagiarism & grammar correction)
- Coordinating with the video production team
- Troubleshooting & editing content on-the-spot, as required from time to time
- Conducting systematic overhauls of existing content as required
- Content manager for proposal and corporate communications
- Examining & ensuring the quality of training courses uploaded
- Brainstorming with course creators, experience in content creation or management
- Knowledge of different referencing and citation styles preferred
- Good understanding of internal communications
- A sound understanding of social media platforms and audience mindsets as well as market segmentation to cut-through the noise of competition to deliver something unique for Attra
- Should be able to capture a story in different formats, speaking to different audiences
- Ability to take complex messages and convert them to simple and digestible content
- Need to work with the graphic designer to produce the final product ensuring the most compelling combination of copy and design, ensuring the visual elements reflect the words
- Gather ideas from various internal stakeholders and translate them into creative and passionate messages
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in English, journalism or communication
- Should have a good understanding of digital and social platforms as communication tools
- Be experienced in working within a corporate environment. Professional services/consulting or financial services experience a plus
- A team player with a willingness to jump in and design other sales materials as needed
- Pro-active and keen to learn new things
- Need to have a can do, positive attitude with ability to stay composed when working under pressure
