UNIT DESCRIPTION
The Cross Unit Quality Services (xUQS) team at SAP provides services and tools that ensure the Global Technology Legal Compliance, seamless Integration and Accessibility for all SAP Development teams, who deliver the Intelligent Enterprise.
SUMMARY
Are you a full-stack development lead with automation experience looking to lead topics independently If yes, this opportunity is just for you. We are looking for a self-motivated results-driven professional who can conceptualize, design, implement and support the integration of test automation tools with the different CI / CD pipeline frameworks for multiple SAP CLOUD development teams. In your first 12 months, you would have an opportunity to build and implement new services and tools that allow the SAP development teams to benefit from automation, as part of their build and deploy processes. Also, there is a tremendous opportunity to constantly learn new technologies and new approaches in the CLOUD world related to full-stack development and automation topics. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS
- Overall, lead the topic of automation tool integration with the CLOUD development CI / CD pipeline frameworks independently
- Liase with SAP development teams to understand their accessibility test automation needs and usage of current automation tools and development CI / CD pipeline frameworks
- Responsible for the test, design, build and implementation of the integration of the accessibility automation tools with the CLOUD development standard pipeline framework e.g. PIPER or CodePipe
- Plan, orchestrate and coordinate with SAP development teams for the integration of accessibility test automation tools with their specific automation & pipeline frameworks
- Establish and operationalize the support mechanism for SAP development teams related to the automation tool integration
- Provide development teams with necessary training and expert guidance on the topic
- Act as a trusted advisor for management and the development teams on the topic
- Act as knowledge multiplier and coach, as required, with expert knowledge on the topic
- Knowledge management activities for the topic including maintaining an active JAM
- Provide regular management updates and executive presentations, as required
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- BE / BTech / MCA / MS / MTech with at least 6+ years of professional work experience in development or quality assurance role, preferably in a CLOUD environment
- Experience of developing and maintaining CI / CD process for SaaS applications
- Experience with as many of the Full-stack technologies (HTML, Angular, Javascript, Python, Java) and API script development
- Experience with Source Code Management (Git and GitHub), automation servers with plug-ins for CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) and any automation testing tools e.g. Selenium is required
- Experience with Groovy and Go languages is preferable
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is preferable
- Knowledge of Software Architecture and Design Patterns is preferable
- Knowledge of global accessibility standards and requirements is a plus
- Effective leadership skills and drive for results
