Job Description: NOC Monitoring Development Engineer
Job Location: Andheri East, Mumbai
Position Pre-requisites:
Fluency in English Communication (Written and Verbal both) Ready to work in Shift Rotational Shift
Designation: NOC Monitoring Development Engineer
Good experience on monitoring tools like Nagios, SolarWinds, New Relic, Grafana, Zabbix, etc.
Good exposure on scripting languages like: Bash, Shell scripting, Python, etc.
Other technical tools: ELK, Splunk, GIT, SVN, Ansible, Docker, Kubernates.
Perform Root Cause Analyses.
Set up/ Development/ Configuration/ Installation of monitoring tools.
Process Automation using scripting tools mentioned above.
Requirements:
Proficient in scripting for both windows and Linux ( Shell, Bash etc.)
Should have knowledge of monitoring tools like Nagios, SolarWinds etc.
Experience in Infrastructure Automation tool.
Good in Decision-Making and Proactive to identify the opportunities within the technology.
Knowledge of Infrastructure which includes operating systems, Network and security
Should have the knowledge of Cloud Platform (AWS, Azure, GCP) etc.
Should have experience in developing utility to automate certain process of infrastructure.
Should have a Problem Solving attitude
- Other Skills/Abilities:
Minimum of 2 years of relevant on exposure on Application monitoring server- monitoring tools like- Nagios, ELK, New Relic, Prometheus, Splunk, Grafana, , Scripting languages- Shell/ Bash or Python. Should have exposure on incident management, RCA, etc.
ITIL Certification (Preferred)
Understanding of Waterfall SDLC, Agile, OOP Design principles etc.
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
Strong communications skills; both verbal and written, are key to working effectively with
colleagues and customers
