The focus of SAP Concur Expense Configuration Team is to transform Expense Configuration into highly scalable and robust microservices. We design and write services in Java and deploy to AWS cloud using Docker, Helm, Kubernetes technologies.
THE ROLE
As a Senior Software Development Engineer on the Expense Configuration team you will work in an agile environment that is challenging and constantly evolving. You will help us transform our product by building highly scalable microservices. You will also have the opportunity to work in a dev-ops model with latest open source technologies like Kubernetes and Service Mesh.
We work in a collaborative environment and are looking for someone who is proactive and enthusiastic to learn and explore new technologies.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
10+ years of experience in a software development.
Experience in writing clean production ready code with a strong focus on quality, scalability and high performance.
Experience with Java, Spring boot, REST webservices and MySQL database
Experience working with cloud providers like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.
Experience with dev-ops technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch
Strong understanding of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
Experience leading a team from technology standpoint and solving complex business problems.
Ability to participate in design discussions and architecture reviews, to participate in weekly 24/7 production support rotation and to be a self-starter with a result driven attitude.
