About the opportunity

Candidate will work on the design of AC/DC Overhead Electrification systems (OLE/OHE/OCS) for Overseas projects. This role will involve the preparation detailed design of the overhead line electrification of railway/metro line.

Responsibilities

• Proven and capable to perform complete overhead line electrification (OLE) system
• Preparation of OLE Layout as per prescribed standards
• Capability to prepare the specification and analysis report of OLE system
• Prepare the Structure Erection Diagram and Cross section diagram
• Prepare Cantilever design
• Ability to prepare Catenary profiles
• Prepare OLE assemblies and Component diagram
• Prepare report and analysis Mast and Foundation calculations
• Ability to prepare dropper schedule and OLE height analysis
• Must have Experience with relevant code requirements for OLE design
• Knowledge of Railway Engineering and integration of other disciplines such as traction power, track, signals and communications.
• Ability to draft the drawing in MicroStation with minimal assistance.
• Ability to support and mentor the Jr. engineer and drafting staff
• Experience with OLE system under global design delivery will be preferable
• Candidate with responsibility of complete OLE design system for oversea projects and able to work under environment of Global integration delivery. Responsible for coordination with overseas client to deliver the project with in defined timeline.

About you

• Bachelor s Degree in Engineering is required
• 15 years of experience in OLE/OHE design
• Proficient user of MICROSTATION with 2D and 3D Designs
• Knowledge of Project Wise,
• Knowledge of software for support structure analysis (STAAD,) will be advantageous
• Strong communication skills and the cooperative ability to work with other team members at other locations.
• Able to travel abroad as and when required
