Job Description
Job Profile: To deal with the legal claims arising out of Motor accident claims, consumer complaints and managing other litigation, legal/related affairs.

Duties & Responsibilities:
1) Handling and management of litigation pertaining to Motor accident claims, Consumer litigation and other legal related issues
2) Dealing with Courts, Advocates and Investigators for effective handling of claims
3) Appointment of advocates and Regular follow up with Advocates for opinions for compromise/contest
4) Adducing evidences in legal claims
5) Adherence to internal processes and external regulations
6) Co-ordinate with internal customers in order to facilitate effective handling of claims and share the court precedents for them to deal with the claims
7) Ensure timely compliance of the orders passed by courts
8) Review of cases and proper maintenance of case file and details in system
9) Coordination with local regulatory and administrative bodies
Span of Control:2-3 (Direct or Indirect)
Interfaces :(a) Internal :
State Legal Team, Corporate Office Legal Team, Claims Team, RCU team etc
(b) External :Courts, Lawyers, Administrative Bodies etc

Qualification Requirement:
LLB
Relevant Work-experience Required:
Minimum 5-6 years experience with 2-3 years of corporate experience in litigation. Experience in General Insurance Industry would be an added advantage.
Language Proficiency:
English, Hindi, Local language of the State
Maximum offered CTC: 8 Lacs
