Job Description:
POSITION TITLE :Executive / Sr Executive - LA Service Management
BUSINESS UNIT :Information Technology
Work LocationBangalore - Head Office
Experience : 1-3 Yrs
Age:26 Yrs
Notice Period -Immediate or 15days notice period.
Required Skills: AS 400, DB2, SQL.
Position Summary (Comprehensive summary of what the job exists to accomplish):
- Resolving of incidents within defined SLA
- Provide workaround to stakeholders for business continuity
- Life Insurance Business Basic knowledge is desirable
- Exposure to Life/Asia or Life/400 application
- Data service request to stake holders
Key Accountabilities (A collection of duties and/or responsibilities assigned):
- Responsible for prioritizing the issues and resolving within defined SLA
- Suggest alternate workarounds for business continuity
- Adhering to processes as per product parameters
- Adhering to regulatory requirements
- Extraction and sharing of data to various stake holders on demand
- Extended support to business units and operations team
- Coordinate with AS400 OPS Team for implementation of fixes & review
- Coordinate with development team for permanent resolution
- Coordinate with stake holders on various incidents
Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications (Framework required by the position):
- Graduate in Computer Science BE or BSc/MSc (Computer Science)
- Knowledge of DB2 SQL as the role requires writing scripts
- Life/400 or Life/Asia knowledge
- Knowledge of incident management handling and trouble-shooting
- Continuous Learning and Understanding of interfacing applications
- Basic Life Insurance domain knowledge
- Trouble-shooting and resolving batch job abends

- Good Team Player
- Good Analytical ability and ability to grasp the applications used by Exide Life
- Communication skills, both verbal & written and stake holder management
- Attitude for defining and adherence to processes
Performance Measures (The quantitative measures of the jobs overall responsibility):
- Resolution of incidents as per agreed SLA
- Manage processes and other stakeholders
- Ensure timely distribution of reports to stake holders
- Scripting of various DB2 Queries to generate reports from Life/Asia
- Resolution of batch job failures
