Our client customers are highly reputed and fast growing product companies in the USA and the UK having a state-of-the-art product line in domains like (SaaS) Web Content Solutions, Cyber Security etc. They thrive on business innovations implemented using the latest of technologies and many of them have been branded as Visionary by Gartner recently. They employ some of the brightest business as well as technology minds in the industry to give shape to their vision. They are a technology partner to them, working with some those bright minds, implementing part of their vision from India.
Most of their products are developed primarily using Microsoft .Net Core technology or Full-stack on AWS and well equipped with Automated QA, DevOps etc. These products and their support eco-system are evolving continuously to implement new innovations and are partly implemented & supported by us.
Our client the Project
One of their customers has a well-established solution for governance of digital presence of its enterprise customers (e.g. web sites, mobile sites, social media presence etc.) through monitoring and consent solutions, which improve site performance, operational efficiency, vendor accountability and adherence to global privacy & data protection regulations. This product is developed using latest Micro services based application, developed using Microsoft .Net Core technology,deployed on AWS cloud.
There are more such customers whom the target role may have to serve.
This opportunity is about consulting the customer to finalize their QA Automation solution, setting up the team to own QA Automation, maintenance and enhancement/ upward development for their products from India.
PROFILE NAME
Job Title:MTS L7/L8,(QA Automation, SOAP UI, Selenium, JMeter)
Place of Posting :Noida/ Kolkata
QUALIFICATION: B.Tech/ MCA from a reputed university
Experience: 8-15 years of QA experience including last 2 years as QA Automation lead.
Language Known : Must Grammatically correct English Speak accent-free, easily
understandable, to-the-point

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Responsibilities:
- Develop Automation strategy based on the technical analysis, complexity and reusability.
- Execute POC, evaluation of various tools as required and present to clients.
- Assist in pre-sales activities.
- Hands on coding to generate various utilities to be used in automation frameworks.
- Provide technical coordination to the automation team to ensure minimal duplication of efforts through maximum reuse of defined solutions.
- Proficient at decomposing requirements and developing test automation for projects of simple to high complexity.
- Practices automation development efficiency, maintainability and reusability - Assist in managing and improving the coding standards.
- Provides accurate implementation level estimates and delivers on them.
- Understands software quality best practices, test strategy and planning, test case - development, test case deployment and execution, test data, defect tracking, and test automation; actively participates in process improvements.
- Demonstrate a mature and sophisticated approach to problem solving.
- Effectively collaborate and communicate with others.
Skill Requirements Mandatory Generic Skills
- Must be a great communicator and have good experience in communicating with customer, representing the team.
- Must have prior QA Automation solutioning and related technical pre-sales experience
- Commitment to the work environment described above
- Required technical skills and experience (see below)
- Proactive ownership and problem solving attitude - as given above.
Skill Requirements Technical Skills
- Strong Agile understanding is MUST
- Hands on expertise on Selenium, Jenkins, Cucumber, Protractor and equivalent tool is MUST.
- Should have sound knowledge of multiple development methodologies (TDD, BDD etc.)
- Experience with SOAP UI, Protractor, Selenium, JMeter is must.
- Experience in designing and maintaining test automation frameworks with industry standards.
- Strong in coding for automation, without reliance on record and playback scripting.
- Experience developing function libraries and generic scripts.
- Proficient at decomposing requirements and developing test automation for projects of simple to high complexity.
- Experience on Small and Large Integration Testing / Regression Testing projects.
- Experience in DevOps including process automation, monitoring tools, cloud infra is a big PLUS.
- Having a good background in Performance Testing is desirable

- Please quote a recent example in which you or your team had a tough automation challenge and what did you do to resolve it.
