Job Description
We are hiring Mechanical Engineer - Project Management (Automobile Industry ) for leading MNC @ Bangalore under contract to hire job role for 1- 2 years . The detailed JD as follows;
Roles and Responsibilities
1)Design Layouts for Customer Engine & Product Interfaces
2) Project management activities
3) Design calculations and failure root cause analysis
4) Corodination with cross functional team (eg. Design, validation, testing, sample manufacutring
sales, etc).
4) Interaction with sample production departments for technical clarifications
5) Implementation of quality tools (FMEA, 8D,..) for projects
6) Documentation as per Project Management proceduresTechinical
7) Interaction with Manufacturing, Purchase, cross functional teams
Occasional TS16949, QMS Audit support. Technical Interactions with Customer, Supplier Teams
Educational & Qualifications ; BE / B -TECH Mechanical Engineering
Candidate having 1 to 3 + Years of Project Management work Experience in Automobile Industry will be preferred.
1) Basics of design/ development. Knowledge of 3D and 2D CAD, preferably PRO-E.
2) Good knowledge on drawings, form parameters & working knowledge of GD&T
3) Analytical reasoning ability and experience in practical application of design tools such as 8D,
FMEA etc.
4) Basics of Material Science, Strength of Materials, Hydraulics
5) Basics of Quality Systems
6) Analytical skill & Language competency
7) Proficiency in basic MS Office programs (Excell, Word, power point, ..)
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Diesel engines
- Fuel Injection system components in Common Rail Diesel Fuel Injection system
- Experience in working with design simulation packages
